Herbal Digestive Drink Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds (Dhaniya)
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 3 black pepper seeds
- A small piece of fresh ginger
Instructions:
- Grind the Ingredients: Blend or grind the coriander, cumin, fennel seeds, and black pepper together until you get a coarse mixture. Add the ginger and grind with the previous mixture.
- Boil the Mixture:
- Add 2 glasses of water to a pot.
- Add the ground mixture and bring it to a boil over medium heat.
- Cover with a plate and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
- Cool and Strain:
- Turn off the flame and let the drink cool until lukewarm (around 26-32°C).
- Sieve the liquid to remove any residue.
Dosage (30-45 minutes before meals):
- 8-10 months: 2 teaspoons
- 1 year or older: 1/4 cup
- 5-10 years: 1/2 cup
- Adults: 1 cup
